When communication cannot be carried out |

A connection check message appears when communication with the connected
device cannot be carried out. If the message remains displayed even if
the device is connected, attempt the following:
>Check that the power of the device has been turned on.
>Check that the device is connected to your PC securely with a USB cable.
>Exit the software, and remove the USB cable. Then check that the power
of the device is set to ON. Connect the device to your PC once again using
the USB cable, and start the software.
>If the driver has not been installed, install the driver.
>Check that you rebooted your PC after having installed the driver.
>Check that the driver has been installed properly.
Checking the driver
1. Connect the device and your PC using a USB cable.
2. Display Device Manager

Click [Start] > [Control Panel] ( > [System and Security] ) > [System] > [Device Manager]

Click [Start] > [Control Panel] ( > [Performance and Maintenance]

3. Check the CP210x driver
<When the driver has been installed properly>
Click the mark in front of "Port (COM and LPT)". If "Sillicon
Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COM*)" is displayed, the driver has
been installed properly. (*: Port No.)

<When the driver has not benn installed properly>
if "CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller" is displayed under
[Other Device], the driver may not have installed properly. In this case,
uninstall the driver, and then install it again.
